These terms are a summary of how Kooday works. Businesses should get their own legal advice for specific compliance obligations.
Who we are
Kooday is a product operated by Astral Infotech (Proprietorship), 17/716, 2nd Floor, Preetha Building, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695012. GSTIN 32AUUPA6665P1ZX. In these terms, "Kooday", "we" and "us" mean Astral Infotech.
The service
Kooday provides AI receptionist and AI agent technology that answers phone calls, WhatsApp messages and website chats on behalf of the business that configures it. The business controls the customer relationship and approved agent content.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Kooday lawfully, to obtain any consents your business requires from your own customers, and not to use the service to send unlawful, deceptive or abusive content. Messaging on third-party channels such as WhatsApp is also subject to those providers’ own policies.
Data & privacy
Your customer and business data remain yours and are handled as described in our Privacy page. Each business’s data is isolated and is not used to train another business’s agent.
Third-party accounts
Telephony and WhatsApp/Meta messaging run on your own provider accounts and are billed at cost, separately, subject to those providers’ terms. You are responsible for maintaining those accounts.
Billing
Fees, included minutes and any add-ons are as agreed during onboarding and shown on our Pricing page. Charges are exclusive of applicable taxes.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. Your data is archived for 30 days (restorable in that window), then soft-deleted for a further 60 days, then permanently purged; you may also request an immediate purge. Issued GST invoices are retained separately for the statutory period required by Indian tax law. See our Privacy page for the full retention schedule.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
