Features WhatsApp catalogue and ordering for business India

It quotes your prices, not its memory

An assistant answering from an uploaded document quotes whatever that document said in March. One answering from your catalogue reads the price at the moment the customer asks — and knows what you have stopped selling, because you marked it inactive rather than hoping the paragraph got deleted.

What it does

How it works

  1. Enter what you sell under “What you sell” — name, SKU, price, availability, status. Ten current entries beat forty stale ones.
  2. The assistant reads an entry directly whenever it knows which item is meant; that needs no switch and is what stops an old price being repeated.
  3. Switch on catalogue search so vague questions — “do you do anything for scratched paint?” — reach it too, then save each existing entry once so it joins.
  4. Set a product link pattern containing {sku} and every card links to the right page on your site; one odd product can carry its own address instead.
  5. A quote the customer accepts becomes an order, an order becomes a payment link, and a paid order becomes an event your other systems can hear.

Where it stops

Every product page in this market lists capabilities. This is the other half — the things it does not do, so you find out here rather than in month two.

  • Prices and discounts are never the model’s to choose. It names which item and which offer; the platform reads the amount from your catalogue and computes the discount from your rule. It cannot invent a number, and it cannot invent a link.
  • Payments are a link, not a gateway. The provider that ships today composes a payment address from a template you configure — there is no card processing, no settlement and no refund path inside Kooday.
  • Bookings are confirm-only. There is no slot calendar, no availability arithmetic and no double-booking guard — the assistant collects the request and a person confirms it. If two customers ask for the same slot, both requests are recorded.
  • Stock counts only mean something for items you set to track by count. Everything else is treated as always available, which is right for a service and wrong for anything you can run out of.
  • A SKU cannot be changed after saving. It is how the entry is tracked and how its link is built, so a different one means removing the entry and adding it again.
  • Cards carry a photo and a caption. The assistant cannot attach a document or a PDF on any channel — a link to a file is fine, an attachment is not.
  • A phone call has no screen, so there it describes the item and says the price aloud instead of showing a card.
  • Meta Catalog sync is built and tested, but has not yet completed a run against a real Meta account.

Common questions

Do I have to re-upload my price list every time something changes?

No — that is the whole reason to enter it as a catalogue rather than a document. Change the price on the entry and the next answer uses it. What is worth doing once is finding the old price in whatever document you uploaded and deleting it, because while that document exists it stays something the assistant can read.

Can it actually take payment?

It can send a payment link built from your own template, and the order records as paid when your systems say so. It is not a payment gateway: money never moves through Kooday, and there is no refund path here. If you need a live card checkout inside the conversation, we are not the fit yet.

Will it discount to win a sale?

Only inside offers you set up. It chooses which offer applies; the amount comes from your rule, not from its judgement. An offer you marked as needing approval stops the quote until somebody approves it, so the discount is recorded but excluded from the total until then.

What if I quote everything case by case?

Leave the price empty. A blank price means “not priced yet”, not free — the assistant says it needs to check rather than quoting zero, which is the failure mode that actually costs you money.
