Campaigns that reply for themselves

Anyone can send a promotion. The difference is what happens next: a reply to a Kooday campaign arrives in front of the assistant that already knows the customer, on the board that already has their deal — not in an inbox nobody is watching by Tuesday.

What it does

How it works

  1. Import your customers and record where their consent came from — that attestation is what makes a segment sendable.
  2. Pick a standing segment or build your own; it materialises when the broadcast is created, so you know exactly who is in it before you start.
  3. Choose an approved template. The wizard reaches every field Meta accepts, including buttons, carousel cards and the tracked link.
  4. Choose which assistant answers the replies, set the window, and run it.
  5. Read the report: sent, delivered, replies, the deals that came out of it, and what it cost.

Where it stops

Every product page in this market lists capabilities. This is the other half — the things it does not do, so you find out here rather than in month two.

  • You cannot paste a list of phone numbers and blast it. A raw list carries no evidence that those people agreed to hear from you, so the request is refused outright — you import customers, record where consent came from, and send to a segment.
  • There is no name personalization. The only field a send can fill is the recipient’s phone number, and a template asking for anything else is refused on the screen where you built it, not once per recipient.
  • The frequency caps are fixed: at most one marketing message per number per 24 hours, and four per 7 days, per business. No plan raises them and we will not sell past them — your number’s quality rating is not ours to spend.
  • Delivery and read counts are never final. Meta reports them late, or not at all, and receipts are kept for 90 days — after which the report says they aged out rather than showing you a zero it cannot stand behind.
  • Campaigns are WhatsApp only. There is no Instagram or Messenger broadcast, and no template A/B testing.
  • Honouring an opt-out is not a compliance guarantee of any kind, and we never verify opt-IN — that is an attestation you give us. Once someone opts out, nobody at your business or at Kooday can put them back on. Only they can, by replying start.
  • Click tracking sees clicks on links we wrapped in our own templates, and counts people rather than taps. It is not web analytics, and it cannot tell you what the customer did after the click.

Common questions

Can I upload a list of numbers?

No, and the API refuses it rather than quietly sending nothing. A phone number on its own carries no record of consent. Import the customer, say where their consent came from, and send to a segment — it is a slower first step and a much shorter conversation with Meta later.

Does this go out on my main WhatsApp number?

No. Promotions go out on a separate marketing number, so a campaign that lands badly cannot take your order confirmations and booking reminders down with it. One assistant and one customer record still span both numbers.

What does it cost?

It is an add-on you can attach to your plan from the dashboard, and it is included with Enterprise — see the pricing page. WhatsApp’s own per-message fees are billed to you by Meta directly; we add nothing on top of them.

What happens to the replies?

They go to the assistant that owns the marketing number, which answers from the same knowledge base and the same customer record as everything else. A reply that turns into interest becomes a deal, and the deal names the campaign that caused it.
