Sales Pipeline

A sales pipeline is the sequence of stages a lead moves through from first enquiry to closed deal — new, contacted, quoted, won or lost — laid out as a board so a business can see where every conversation actually stands.

A sales pipeline is the sequence of stages a lead moves through from first enquiry to closed deal — new, contacted, quoted, won or lost — laid out as a board so a business can see where every conversation actually stands.

For a small business this is often a spreadsheet, a notebook, or nothing at all — leads live inside individual WhatsApp threads with no shared view of which are still open. A pipeline built from those same conversations turns a pile of chats into a small number of visible stages, and makes it obvious which leads have gone quiet and need a follow-up rather than a fresh guess.

The version worth having fills itself from real conversations, rather than asking someone to re-type what was already said into a separate CRM.

See how a pipeline fills itself from conversations, on the sales pipeline page.
