What's the difference between Wati, AiSensy and Interakt?
Wati vs. AiSensy vs. Interakt — WhatsApp platforms in India, compared
The three Indian WhatsApp Business Platform providers side by side — plan fees, message rates, what's not published — and where an AI receptionist like Kooday fits differently.
Wati, AiSensy and Interakt are the three WhatsApp Business Platform providers that come up most often for an Indian business shopping this category. All three sell WhatsApp automation and a visual chatbot builder. None of them answer a phone call. This page puts the three side by side, on what each actually publishes, then explains where Kooday — an AI receptionist that answers phone calls, WhatsApp and website chat — fits a different question.
Platform fees, as read on 8 September 2026
| Wati | AiSensy | Interakt | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry tier | ₹2,499/mo (Growth), 3 users | Not published on the pricing page — add-ons only | Free (single channel, owner role only) |
| Mid tier | ₹4,999/mo (Pro), 5 users | — | $55/mo + taxes (Growth) |
| Top tier | ₹9,999/mo (Business), unlimited integrations | — | $69/mo + taxes (Advanced) |
| Enterprise | — | — | On request |
Wati and Interakt publish clear tier tables. AiSensy does not — its pricing page lists add-ons (a visual chatbot builder at ₹2,500/mo, an AI agent builder at ₹1,350/mo) and per-message rates, but no base platform fee. If a base fee matters to your comparison, ask AiSensy directly; we won’t quote a number we haven’t read.
Message rates, where published
| Message category | AiSensy | Interakt | Wati |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | ₹1.09 | ₹0.958 | Not published — see own rate card |
| Utility | ₹0.145 | ₹0.150 | Not published |
| Authentication | ₹0.145 | ₹0.128 | Not published |
The rates that are published are within a few paise of each other, because both AiSensy and Interakt largely pass through Meta’s own conversation pricing. Message rate is not the differentiator between these three platforms — the platform fee and what a seat costs when your team grows are.
Seats and integrations
| Wati | AiSensy | Interakt | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Included seats | 3–5, by tier | Not published (unlimited-users framing) | Unlimited on every paid tier |
| Extra seats | $24–69/user/mo | — | Not applicable |
| CRM / Salesforce | Unlimited integrations incl. Salesforce (Business tier) | Not published | Separate Sales CRM product, ₹2,499/mo |
Where Kooday fits a different question
None of these three platforms answer a phone call, and only Interakt’s Advanced tier and AiSensy’s add-on offer any form of AI agent — both bolted on top of a base plan rather than built in. If the problem you’re solving is “customers call and nobody answers,” these three platforms don’t address it at all; they automate WhatsApp conversations, not incoming calls.
Kooday is an AI receptionist first: it answers phone calls (including in Indian languages), WhatsApp messages and website chat with one assistant, from the entry tier, with no chatbot-builder add-on to buy because Kooday’s assistant is configured through conversation rather than a visual flow editor — which also means it does not offer that visual editor at all. If you specifically want to design your own WhatsApp automation flows by hand, Wati, AiSensy and Interakt all support that and Kooday does not.
Kooday’s current prices are published in full on the pricing page.
Which one fits
Choose one of Wati, AiSensy or Interakt if WhatsApp automation — broadcasts, triggers, a visual flow builder — is the job, and you’re comparing them against each other on seats, integrations and platform fee. Choose Kooday if the problem is unanswered phone calls and scattered messages across channels, and you want one assistant covering all of it without assembling add-ons.
