Take over whenever you want to
An assistant you cannot interrupt is not something you would put in front of customers. Every conversation is in one list, and you can take any of them over mid-sentence.
What it does
- Puts every conversation in one channel-tabbed list with its full history.
- Shows a clear chip on each thread — "You" or "Assistant" — so nobody has to guess who is replying.
- Flips a conversation to manual atomically: if you take over while the assistant is mid-reply, that reply is dropped rather than sent alongside yours.
- Sends your replies through the same durable delivery and window handling as the assistant’s.
- Feeds your replies back into the assistant’s memory, so it cannot contradict something you just said.
How it works
- Open the inbox, pick a conversation, flip it to manual.
- Type as your business. The customer sees one continuous thread.
- Flip it back when you are done.
Where it stops
Every product page in this market lists capabilities. This is the other half — the things it does not do, so you find out here rather than in month two.
- The composer is offered on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Website chat has none — that pane is read-only.
- On Instagram and Messenger there is no out-of-window template, so a thread that has gone past 24 hours cannot be answered by anyone — human or assistant. WhatsApp has a re-engagement template; those two do not.
- There is no per-operator identity, so the history records that a human replied, not which one.
- There is no proactive outbound from the inbox on webchat.
Common questions
What happens if two of us open the same thread?
The hand-over gate is atomic and row-locked, so the conversation has exactly one owner at a time. What is missing is telling you *which* colleague — that is the per-operator identity gap above.
Does the assistant know what I said?
Yes. Your replies are included in the conversation memory it reads, which is what stops it contradicting you two messages later.
