What this costs, and how to compare quotes
The four cost lines every quote in this market contains, which ones get quietly omitted, and calculators for working out your own number.
What this category is
Quoted per-minute prices in this market range from roughly ₹2 to over ₹10, and the spread is mostly about what the number includes rather than quality. Any quote separates into four lines: platform fee, usage, telephony carriage, and setup. Two quotes are not comparable until both have been split that way.
Who should care
- Anyone holding two quotes that appear to differ by three times.
- Businesses working out whether the loss they are trying to fix is bigger than the fix.
- Anyone who has been quoted a per-minute rate with no mention of telephony.
Who should not
If you have not yet measured what your missed enquiries are worth, start with the calculator rather than the quotes — a cheap solution to a small problem is still money you did not need to spend.
