Pausing or stopping an add-on

How to stop an add-on renewing, what happens to your data, and the difference between changing your mind before your renewal date and coming back later.

Updated 18 August 2026 4 min read

If an add-on is not earning its place, you can stop it yourself. Nothing is deleted, and you can start it again whenever you like.

Where to find it: Billing in your dashboard, on the add-on’s card.

Stopping one

Select Pause on the add-on. It keeps working until your renewal date and then stops.

⚠️ It does not stop immediately, and that is deliberate. You have paid for this month, so you keep it for this month. The Billing page shows the exact date it will stop.

What it costs to stop

Stays active until your renewal date, then stops. Resume any time; a new month starts the day you resume.

There is no partial refund for the rest of the month, and no credit for the time it is switched off. That also means there is no minimum term to worry about: if you add something and stop it the same day, you have paid for that one month and nothing more.

Your data stays

Pausing never deletes anything. Whatever the add-on collected — your insights, your pipeline, your Instagram conversations — is still there, still visible, and comes back exactly as it was if you start the add-on again.

What stops is the working part: no new messages are handled on a paused channel, no new campaigns start, no new analysis runs.

Changing your mind before your renewal date

If you paused something and then decided against it, select Resume before the renewal date arrives. That is free. Nothing has stopped, nothing restarts, and you are not charged anything extra — you simply carry on.

⚠️ This is only free before your renewal date passes. After that the add-on has genuinely stopped, and starting it again is a new month — see below.

Coming back later

Once an add-on has stopped, turning it on again works like buying it: it starts a new month, charged from the day you start it to your next renewal date, at whatever the price is then — not the price you were paying before.

A few things are checked when you come back, because time has passed:

  • Your plan still allows it. If you moved to a smaller plan while it was off, an add-on that needs a larger one cannot be started.
  • Anything it depends on is still there. Campaigns need a phone number, for example; if that has gone, reconnect it first.
  • It is still something we sell. Occasionally a feature is withdrawn.

If any of those stop you, the reason is on the screen with what to do next.
